V Class destroyer launched on 15.12.1917 as the first RN warship to carry this name. Joined the fleet on 20.2.1918 and remained in service after the Armistice. Bought into service again in 1939 and deployed as convoy defence and also evacuation service from Europe.
Awarded to L/Cpl Cuncliffe 2nd East Lancs Regt, Bayt Team Combats 1928 & 30 along with his dog tags and attached ear plugs, unusual set.
Approx 460mm across printed with air force emblem to centre with planes etc around edges, colours super (camera flash may make colours paler) a small amount of rust stains and minor holes but would look superb framed.
Superbly made brass tin with what appears to be zinc lining, slide top, finely engraved K?C and eagle with the initials B.M.R, this may be an apprentice piece due to the quality. It is around the size of a cigarette packet 100mm by 65mm and 20mm deep.
For 20/11/45. It lists all of the palyers inside, amazing to have lasted all these years.

All different regiments appear to be in the grounds of a hospital, fold across the centre but still nice.
Confidential map printed June 1945 by 61 rep group. It shows location of Japanese K.I.A's and taken POW along with dates and unit such as 2/8 PUNJAB, 4/17 DOGRA, 14/13 F.F. RIFLES etc, very interesting and rare. It would look good in a frame with insignia around...
Issued to Ken Twigden R.A who fought with the 8th Army in Haly Army No 885258 service shown as exemplary. This gunner joined upo 3/9/39 and was released 21/5/46. Quite battered but complete.
Nice early example size up to about 33inch waist.
